That stuff is gross!! How many people here know that it was designed to be cough syrup, and help digest your food better? Someone said one day that hey - "I wish this cough syrup was at my local bar", and here ya have it.

Next we will be seeing NyQuil at the local bar.

Yes, that's correct. Just drink for medicinal purposes.

My favourite, the Czech one, Pilsner Urquell. Very nice, especially when drunk in the Blues Bar in Prague.

I'm not sure if i should share this little tidbit, but I've been quite impressed by Dog Fish's 120 Min IPA. I've had a few of them lately.

Here is the part that will blow your mind - it is 20% abv, yet it doesn't even taste like it! Believe that?

Quote:
120 Minute IPA

Availability: limited - 3 releases scheduled for 2007
Release Date: Jan, May, Sept. 2007

Too extreme to be called beer? Brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month & aged for nother month on whole-leaf hops!!! Our 120 Minute I.P.A. is by far the biggest I.P.A. ever brewed! At 20% abv and 120 ibus you can see why we call this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads!
20% abv
120 ibu
In case you care... the average 12 oz. serving has 450 calories.

My favorite 3 beers

Stella Artois - Belgium

Becks - German (Although it can be claimed as half American but that doesn't effect it)

Crown Lager - Australian

What I'm drinking now while listening to the fireworks (can't see much from my new apartment :

The Belgian Huyghe family brewery, this particular one is called Delirium Nocturnum. A good one, might have to get more of it and age it properly. I will finish this 750ml bottle after a day of drinking, oh yes, I will (at 8% abv).

Where did you pick that brew up Subman, is it local?

PD

The problem with Becks here, is that it's "brewed under license in Australia"........ and tastes like it too.

So is Stella but it tastes the same as the stuff I had in the EU. Never had Becks from oversea though so I can't say if it's better or not. I still like it, not my favorite but it's a good lager.

I'm probably just too fussy.

Generally, a slab will last me about 12 months, because most of them taste like crap to me.

I guess I'll have to try harder, and break through that pain barrier.
