AL, you in the UK? Welcome aboard!!

Now, while you're here, be sure to check in with Scotland Yard, ask them if there's any radicals they need 'removing', oh...and apply for the job of Head of Security while Gordo is arranging his government.

You're in the wrong part of the UK Been quite sunny here today, although a bit nippy.
Whilst you're here though, why not take a gondola ride through Sheffield?

And some damned flu bug has been doing the rounds aswell over here.

Back on the Spice Girls. David Beckham must be well happy that Posh is going to get off her skinny anorexic bum and earn some money again.

'I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want..' and it involves that bunch of slappers and copious amounts of C4 explosives.

Can we put them in a boat and use them for target practice?

I hated their music, and their style. Later, Emma had one song that prooved to become a year-long "Ohrwurm" for me: that was "Maybe", also with a very slick video: talking of swinging sixties! I love the swing of that song.
But beyond that one song, neither Dido nor The Corrs would touch any of their songs even if payed a record fee, I assume.

AAARGH!! Don't mention the Corrs! I come from the same town, and there was a time in the late 90's when you couldnt get away from them.

The pub they played in before their success is one of my favourites. I was in there two nights ago, playing music with some friends. Much better than "runaway" or, god forbid, "so young"

PS - Bah! John Holland is a much better candidate for famous resident

Not to get too far OT, but I loved the Nene album 99 Luftballoons. I couldn't understand most of the songs, and I drove my roomate in college nuts, but I loved that German pop sound.

Rette Micht was my favorite.
