Attacking the lone armed trawler outside Casablanca with my deckgun, from 2000 meters in the dark and not turning my boat directly towards it AND only going 6 knots with an untrained crew.

First hit blew my rudder off, my gun wasn't even loaded yet. second hit blew up the Zentrale, and all the officers there. third hit sunk my boat and killed me

to add insult to injury, this was june 1940, France still hostile and my type IX boat is parked in 12 meters of water for easy recovery by the Allies to salvage enigma machine and other goodies

and all because I didn't want to waste an eel on it
