Sorry of you misunderstood me, but I just
  1. don't see a need for a "titanium" hull if it doesn't protect at all. The name is cool, I agree, but does it do actually anything?
  2. see it funny that sub submerges again when you command it to surface... and why talk about real life? our mods don't have anything with that to do, you know that
Oh well I just DL'ed your mods to try them, so I had interest for your work... I just posted my experiences with the mods, that's it

About:
This is for all those wanting an "indestructable" sub. Be warned - this throws realism out the window! If you want realism - try the excellent mod called Real Fleet Boats.
This small mod changes hull strength on the following class subs: Balao, Gato, Porpoise, S18, Salmon, Sargo and Tambor. It has been strengthened to a strength of 9 Million HP - an increase of 10k at least - often more - so you shouldnt have a problem with the death scene showing up unless you really get totally pounded for a LONG time - or crush..... Depth and crush settings have not been modified.
Note this Mod does NOT affect internal damage at all - so you can end up with a hull that still leaks enough to take you past your crush depth, as well as one that is watertight but filled with useless scrap metal - and human debris! As an example - it is easy to surface during the coral sea single mission and get enough "leaks" to end up diving past crush and ultimately dying - or surviving buthaving your sub so hammered that there is no workable equipment in it - and your crew is all dead....
Installation:
Place the Titanium Boats 1.1 folder in your Mods folder and then using JSGME,enable it. You can apply this with other mods - but do it as the last one you enable that touches the sub .zon files.
Dedication: As this was originally released on Memorial Day weekend - I want to use this small opportunity to remind those that enjoy this (In the US at least) - our freedoms have been bought with great sacrifice - so to those on eternal patrol or resting vigilent elsewhere - Thank You.
Credits:
While I made the changes myself - it was done with the knowledge gleaned from the writings of MANY modders in the subsim.com mod forum. Without the work and testing of others, this would not have been able to be made. To many to name individually, but just check that forum and you will find them.
Additionally - special credit must be given to TIMETRAVELLER for the MiniTweaker program, and to NVDRIFTER for his work creating the tweakfiles used. Without these two individuals, alot of mods would not be out. Also credit to JSCones for JSGME!

Although i'm totally against that kind of mod for the way I like to play SH3-4 being rather an "hardcore" simmer. I'm pleased to see such mods appears on subsim.com

It's really nice some players can find ultra-realistic mods and some others can find mods to turns their game more arcade-like and funny for them. This way, the mod community suits everyone moods

Default Nuke boats and the latest patch

Hi - I tried your mod (Nuke boat) with the 1.4 patch, and the sub just died

I had loaded a saved game, which started fine, and after any speed setting was made. the lights flashed etc.

Shame.
