@CapnScurvy
I just finished reading (rather hearing as they are Audio Books on my Ipod) ALL the 21 books of the "Aubrey–Maturin series" fromPatrick O'Brian. Your Sig just reminded me of it...BRILLIANT STUFF INDEED! (think it was in "Desolation Island" and "Fortune of War" we saw the USS Chesapeake )

Classic...pure classic!

CapnScurvy -- thanks for making this; as I just mentioned to HitMan in another thread, I got my first ever torpedo hits on 100% realism & manual targeting shortly after installing your mod, so I think it may have helped.

Downloading & installing the new 1.1 version, now!

Hrmm... I tried downloading it from MediaFire, but it just keeps reloading the same pager over & over when I hit the download link.

So I tried downloading it from FileFront instead, and there it lists the "1.1" version at first but when you go to actually download it it just sends you the "1.0" file instead.

Anyone else manage to download the 1.1 version?

My aim is terrible, I need all the help I can get.

I know mediafire is iffy on reliability. I had the same looping download problem several times today. I also had it go through. I will re-upload the 1.1 file to File Front and that should do the trick.

As I was doing a little research about the quote in my sig. I understand the name USS Chesapeake has only been used once after the original ship, by a tug I believe. The Chesapeake was "given up" to the Shannon by the remaining crew after both ships exchanged two complete broadside attacks. The Shannon was outfitted with more guns, and one in particular was set on her top deck to specifically take out the wheel of the enemy. With the Chesapeake losing steering on the first broadside, and her Captain being severely wounded, she was doomed. The Chesapeake had over 120 hits on her, the Shannon over 80.
The Chesapeake was hauled back to Halifax, her crew held for a while, then released. Upon returning to the U.S., several of the crew were court-martialed for not following Captain Lawrence's last orders. The ship was made sea worthy, sailed to England to work as a coastal merchant until it was dismantled. The words were made famous when printed on a War Flag held by Captain William Perry during the Battle of Lake Erie.

Got it, thanks! Although you might want to rename the folder contained within with archive which is still named "Imperial_Ship_Fix-1.0" and the README file too, which still says it's for version 1.0. Otherwise people (like me) might get confused.

Thanks Nomad, I'm new to this file serving stuff and I did indeed forget to update all source materials. I think we are square now.
