Default Deck gun in a Storm

Hello there,

Is there a mod that allows you to use the deck gun/flak gun in a storm?

Been looking out for this one for a while.

Many thanks!

what a waste of ammo that would be - such an unstable firing platform - but i believe there is a change to a CFG file that has to be made - someone here can point you in the right direction though. if you are using GWX you will find the deck gun quite useless after 1943

I never liked the "99" edit.
I roll with a manual edit, something along these lines;
StormConditions=13,0.9;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1]
Works for me. And still cuts off under heavy seas but lets you use your guns in marginal weather. A compromise of sorts.

I don't disagree with you...in fact I don't adjust my Cfg at all...but this poster wants to use his deck gun in a storm, not peaceful or marginal weather conditions
