Wow, good idea, would be awesome.

How is GWX doing it btw with their added traffic? The only thing holding me back from trying GWX are the reportedly pretty long load times, which are probably going to be extremely long in my case with 512 mb RAM. I guess everytime you go out for a patrol, the complete world traffic is loaded / calculated somewhere in the background, including the indian ocean when you are in the North Atlantic? Would be cool to be able to activate / deactivate traffic layers according to the general area you are about to patrol.

Load times can really put me off because everytime I think about firing up SHIII, it would be like, "I have some time now to continue my patrol - uhm, wait, about 15+ minutes until I'm in the mission, another 15 minutes until I'm anywhere near traffic lanes, and an unknown amount until I make a contact if at all. And then I need to get it over with in that same session, since saving and loading tends to screw the AI / convoy integrity...nah, I would get stuck at the PC for another 3+ hours, which is more time than I really have. Let's fire up AOD. Loads in 5 seconds, time compression 4096 and they got working wolfpacks.
