Seems like I have a ton of german MP3s on my hard drive for the SH3 gramaphone, but I see little to nothing around here for SH4 (American stuff).
Did I miss a big music file around here somewhere? Somebody point me in the right direction. Please and Thank You.

The way I see it, you don't need the gramaphone at all if I can have a Tommy Dorsey radio channel, and an Andrew Sisters channel, etc, etc.. And the radio might only work at Periscope depth, but if I go deep, there will be a reason to not be playing with the radio anyway. Like an Escort on my ass. ![]()

Okay, I need some help now.
I legitimately purchased the Andrews Sisters tracks from Napster. but they come as WMA files (Windows Media Player), and SH4 doesn't play WMA files. I've tried several different WMA to MP3 converters, and all of them say "Cannot convert protected content without licence". I paid money and bought them. I didn't pirate them. Shouldn't I be able to convert them to a different format? Any ideas? Please and Thank you. EDIT: Problem solved; this one gets around the licence issue.... http://www.wma-mp3.com/

My personal research has lead me to believe big bands were definately in, Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" setting the tone (in my mind)... and if you wanted something "alternative" then there's pre-war blues from the likes of Robert Johnson and the advent of the boogie-woogie.
Check this website out if you want to know the annual top tens of the 40s: http://www.tunecharts.com/?1940s-Music (or any other decade, in fact ![]()
