Being myself universitarian and also with post-university studies I can appreciate the wealth of effort that goes into receiving that doctorate. But what pleases me more to see is that the most joy for you comes not from the public recognizement of your effort that is a doctorate, but instead from the oportunity of teaching to older, more advanced students. You have a real vocation for teaching, Sir, something I admire much

My field is Musicology. I'll be a professor of music history and theory.

I could not imagine being a proctologist. Something is inherently creepy about having to look up there for a living.
