Very Strange.
![]() Since the start of this current patrol, have you enabled/disabled any mods and/or made any changes to SH3Commander (if you are using it).

Negative on all counts...and I'm not using SH3 Commander.
I don't want to lose this mission as I bagged just over 50,000 tons. Is there any possibility that figure of 50,000 tons is causing SH3 or GWX to throw a wobbly? |

There is one way to fix this but I think you'll have to let this patrol end as dead. After this you can edit a cfg file, I think it's in the patrol.cfg which you'll find in My Documents under your career name. There will be a line in that cfg relating to your patrol status i.e Dead or Alive, depending on the value, you can change it so you are alive again. I'm sorry I can't be more specific as I'm away from my installation but hopefully, someone will respond with the correct hack. ![]() If it continues to happen after this patrol, I suggest a reinstall after checking the GWX parts with the MD5 mate to make sure none are corrupted. Oh, BTW. Was this a clean install of GWX over a clean version of SH3 1.4b, all mods removed, SH3 folder in My Documents removed & SH3Cmdr rolled back? Soz, gotta ask. Most common problems are caused by residual files from a previous install.

Don't flame me for asking but:
Are you surfaced? |

No mate, I'm not one to flame people - and it's a perfectly reasonable question. Yes, I am surfaced. Danlisa, thanks once again for your willing and helpful advice. I will follow that lead with the cfg file. In regard to GWX, there was no need for an SH3 Commander rollback, and because our hard drive irrecoverably crashed a short time ago, it was a completely clean reinstallation once we got the new hard drive. Thanks to everyone so far. Please feel free to add more advice... |

Hooray!
Quite strange, but when I went into the patrol and career cfg files as Danlisa suggested, somehow [Patrol 003] was squeezed between two separate lots of [Patrol 002].
![]() ![]() Lo and behold, my 2nd patrol showed as a saved patrol at Wilhelmshaven, not "Dead". I am currently in progress in my 3rd mission, having already sunk 24,000 GRT of enemy shipping. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Special thanks to Danlisa ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers, Tim. |
