Default [REL] Reduced Patrol objectives Radius

The purpose is a more realistic insertion of commandos, spy, and cargo.
radius of drop off points has been reduced but insertion points have been adjusted for better deep water insertion...meaning you can get closer submerged...I think?
Not all points are the same! Sometimes you'll need to be within 1nm, sometimes 2nm,
best is to think..."how close can I get with out exposing myself"...
Thanks to Egan for telling me how to edit these files.

Should be compatible with pretty much anything else RFB, FTT, TM...............
should work with jsgme
use as needed for whatever
let me know if you run aground.

CTD! File Removed needs more testing

I can't understand why you are crashing from simply altering the radius of the Objectives.. Have you changed anything else?

Hey Egan, I did move most of em for deeper water access.
Thing was...I didn't back em up first so, had nothing to check em against.

I'll work on em today now that I have backups, will re-upload once I know there's no problems.

Where do you reduce the patrol radius?
I would actually like to expand it, making a "patrol" objective with a 500 nm radius and a two weeks duration. I know where to set duration, but where do I set radius?

He's talking specifically about Spec-ops Objectives rather than Patrols. You reduce the radius (or increase it for that matter,) in the mission editor: right click on the map and create a new map zone. Change the radius in here. Or too edit it just click on an existing one.

Divemonkey: I can honestly say I have no idea what you have done.. Did you do it all by hand or did you do it in the editor?

That's OK, I don't know what I've done ether:rotfl:

Opened spec-ops files in mission editor, selected ignore players sub, moved and or reduced radius, and hit save.
Simple.
It couldev been other edits I was making, but because I DIDNT backup the files first (let this be a lessen to all) I had to reinstall

better safe than mess up someones game, so I removed the files til I could be sure.
