I-58 was a Japanese B3-Typesubmarine in World War II. She was built in September 1944 at Yokosuka, Japan, purposely to launch Kaiten manned torpedoes. Commanded by Lieutenant Comdr. Mochitsura Hashimoto (1909-2001) she was responsible for sinking the USS Indianapolis on July 30, 1945. She was scuttled off Goto, Japan on April 1, 1946.
