Hello, I am running GWX1.03 and SH3 Commander, only clicking on sh3 commander to start the game. I was wondering if I have the 16k already running?
I think this is the visual range from 8k to 16k. thanks |

GWX came with JSGME (JoneSoftGenericModEnabler)....there's a shortcut in the main SH3-directory.
To get the 16km-range, you need to enable it, using the JSGME. ![]() To go back to 8km, simply remove it again, ie. move it back from the right JSGME-window to the left.

To find out if you have it, start a patrol. Use the map tools to measure the range to the starting port. If you find you are still seeing buildings from 12-13 km out, you have it. If they disappear after eight, well...

You will also notice a distinct difference in the horizon / sky. The 16km seems to show up as sculpted tones, rather than the smooth haze offered by 8km. I've gone back to 8km...
