What is wrong with Russia? Are they so ashamed of the war between them and us that they have to lie about it on their Victory Day? In RIA Novosti's official site, there's one article that has few interviews of the veterans. For example, there's talk about how one soldier took part to the ambphious landings to Hanko. Well... there never was such thing. Only battle there ever was, was between a land fortress Russarö and the Kirov (in which the Kirov was damaged and had to spent some months in the drydock). Also, one veteran said that when they finally conquered Hanko, "they bathed in the blood of the Finns". Umm... Ivan you really need to give up the Vodka. :p When Soviet troops took Hanko, there was nobody there to defend it. Why? Because it was in the terms of the truce that Finland was to lend Hanko to Soviet Union for 30yrs.

Ok, that's it. Sorry for the rant, just had to let it out. No pun intended.
Disinfo and propaganda has come the truth in their minds. We know how they raped the churches and property in Hanko. Wonder if they remember how they drowned by the thousands when they were kicked out of Gangut.
