SH3. 1.4b: to much mods to remember.
GWX 1.03: contact colour mod.
WAC: no mod.
NYGM: no mod. dont play it much eather.

SH4: only patched up. dont even know if there are interesting mods for it.

It's SH3 only for me. For one, my computer wouldn't run SH4. Second, I prefer the icy waters of the North Atlantic to the Pacific anyway.

I prefer the atlantic / north atlantic area. I played SH2 and SH3, I will ignore SH4 and wait for SH5 to be of a cold war atlantic setup... :-)

I'm trying to like SHIV -- there are times when I'd rather be Mush Morton than Otto Kretschmer -- but it seems like a step backward from even stock SH3, let alone SH3+GWX. What gives? I've been shivved!

I don´t like the pacific warfare, the american subs and i don´t like sh4, i played it for a month and that´s all, it could have better graphics than sh3 but the gameplay is much much much better in sh3, the u-boats rules the seas. And sh4 is a bit more like an arcade game, sh3 is a really complex subsim.

Had been trying to deal with both for months, pros & cons, ect... No matter what, I could not get into SH4, like I do SH3 . Hey, maybe it's just me? Full time atlantic from now on!

I use everything what you see below, plus I'm waiting for Longer Repairing Time (LRT) and Depth Charge Shake (DCS) for GWX2.0. I love this game, GWX push new, better life to old SH3. Thanx guys.

I only play SH3 (with GWX, of course!).

After reading many reviews and seeing numerous screenshots, I drew the conclusion that SH4 is merely a re-tread of SH3 with some graphical tweaks.
