I wondered now that SH4 was out there who had come back to SH3 and who plays both? Additionally what mods are you using in your current set ups?

I'm still to make the move to SH4 although may do so later on when there are some worthwhile patches available.

I use GWX 1.03 with
16km Atmosphere
Improved torpedo damage
3D waves
Improved Dials
6 dials simfeeling mod

plus
SH3Commander
SH3Gen

Sh3 only. Will probably get Sh4 later, but for now theres still lots of life left in Sh3:up:

I play SHIII,Medieval Total warII,CFS3 - Not really interested in SHIV

SH3 only.

I installed SH4, installed the patch, played one patrol, uninstalled SH4. It just didn't impress me in its current state.

Maybe after 1.3 is released (will there be one?) I'll try again. But until them I'm not that keen.

So I'm currently running GWX 1.03 (and a half ;)) with the following mods...

its also the fact my system cant handle anymore :rotfl:

Im sticking with good old SH3. In Sh4 I dont like the new crew managment screen, theres no information about subs/torpedoes/equiptment and the missions never seem to think they've been competed.
In time it will probably be good but im here until then.

I'd imagine I could play for a couple of years and still find cool stuff with the GWX mod. And by itself SH3 is such a great game. No need to switch to SH4.

And if I ever did play enough to where GWX bored me - which I doubt will happen soon - there are the other great super mods!

Eventually may try SH4 once it's properly finished -- Would buy new SH-3 DVD with SH4 water and GWX incorporated into it.

SH3 + GWX. I'm relatively new to these, so there's no real urgency to moving to SH4 for me. Plus, I'm not all that bothered about the Pacific.

SH3 with GWX & SH4 although most of my times taken up playing SH2 WPL's Atlantic II Campaign

I played Silent Hunter in the past and loved every minute of it, so in a year or two, I will probably buy SHIV.

For me, interest in the Atlantic was always more than the Pacific.
Will still probably get SH4, but I will wait till our modders do all thier magic on it.
Besides, I only now saw the dolphins for the first time, and there is much more for me to see and do in GWX. I have a carreer going in the Black sea, one in the Med, and one in the Atlantic.....I'm too busy for SH4 right now. I'm a happy Kaleun:yep:
