Default Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero

Anyone else listen to NIN? Awesome band, love the prog, industrial, and electronica influences.

Anyway, I picked up their latest album, Year Zero, I've been digging a bit in the alternate reality game, too, so the storyline seems pretty clear to me. And I gotta say, this is one of the greatest PR campaigns for an album, or anything reallly, ever.

Although not as good as The Downward Spiral, I think, this is one of the best albums to come out in years.

Anyone else get it yet?

I haven't listened to NIN since broken/fixed came out. I'll have to try and give it a listen, I'm a bit too old for the moshpit these days though

I never really got further than Pretty Hate Machine, that was the only album I truly liked, with all the later ones there were only one or two good songs for me.

Really enjoy NIN. Saw them twice at Brixton last tour as we complained about the first time as the fire alarm spoiled it. (Must admit I thought it was part of the song for a couple of mins )

I haven't heard about the new album at all so the PR can't have been that good.

I'll chase it down now.

Thanks for the heads up

Mike
