Help on how to attack fast closing destroyer(manual targeting)

Ive been working on this ... because... well it happens alot.

I had a touch of success tonight by setting the torps at around 12 feet er meters whatever.

Set on fast no deflecton pistols on mag/influence and hopefully hes commin straight at you.

Took a snap shot and ... WOW it worked ! crippled em enogh to get away and set up a normal shot.
