He said "good" Vietnam game. :p

Speaking of Vietnam games, anyone ever play Pterodon's Vietcong or Vietcong 2? I never played the latter, but I really enjoyed the original (and the expansion, Fist Alpha).

I played the first one and liked it in some points. Tho, there was a tad too much tunnels in the game, I give you that. I loved the mission where you went through the tunnels and ended up behind enemy lines at night. I almost pooped myself when I had to go thru a small lake, knowing that if they see me, I have no cover at all.

I"m looking forward to COD4 which is going to be for PC and probably ported over to console. The trailer does look amazing, though time will tell as we get more info.

Infinity Ward got a little tired of the WWII theme and needed a change of pace hence is why they made the move to modern warfare.

If I pick a modern FPS in the next few months, it would be ArmA over COD4...

Here is another nail in COD4's coffin:

Well, found out that Steam will NOT be a part of COD4. Here is a video of
how the game playes out:

And ArmA was just too buggy to be played successfully....

There's an understatement. Vietcong is one of the few FPS games which I ever bothered to complete the SP campaign. I did it on the "Vietcong" difficulty, which in hindsight was gluttony for punishent, but fun nevertheless. That tunnel mission was fun (once out), but you're right about the overall excess of tunnel crawling involved.

In the end, I got far more gameplay mileage from the MP piece.

Good times!
