They will not automatically put their coats on if they were on the bridge before it rained, the same goes for reloading saves.
The get them to were them just hit P wait for the bridge to clear and then hit S. ![]()

Another factor is the setting for when the guns cant be used in bad weather, the crew will only use their raincoats when you cant man the guns due to bad weather.
Also rotating the crew works just as well as diving and surfacing. |

Some people set the bad weather gun parameter above 15m/sec which means you would never see them in oilskins

Yep looks kind of funny seeing them in their normal clothes in the middle of a realy bad squall.
