Crew awards

Thank you for your feedback.

I started using the awards about as you are. Once any crew member is 50% or more "overexperienced", I promote him. All have their badge, but I might start giving clasps for sure. A couple of officers have earned Iron Crosses for sure (and a promotion).

A couple of questions:

1) One of my crew members (a matrose) has "Renown: 50". What does that mean? All others have zero.
2) How do you promote officers to their "own command"? Do you just kick them out and simulate it?

3) In general, share if you will how you manage your crew

P.S.: I do keep the "one specialist per patrol" rule. For one, by now all my officers and warrant officers have a specialty (at least one). For another, sure the academy teaches the basics, but the Ocean teaches all the rest
