You can also use the hydrophones to send the bearing to the tdc. First move the hydrophone to the target, then click the 3D button under it "send bearing to tdc" which will send the bearing that the hydorphone is currently set to when you clicked the button.
I think using the interface button "send bearing to TDC" will use the bearing that the sonar AI sets the hydophone to and not where you have manually set the hydorphone to yourself.
