Lets start with how you handled the patches and installation. The reason I ask this is this. I loaded the game the day it came out. I dropped in the green light key mod and reduced radio traffic mod. Game was fine. All buttons worked. Patch 1.2 came out a day or so ago. Instead of wiping the game clean and start loading all over again, I simply loaded the patch into the game. I started a fresh career. All my buttons and keys work. So, how did you do the installation?

I don't know if this is related, but I had a heck of a time getting some commands to work in my sub periodically. One time I could not get the engines to fire up or anything while I sat in the middle of the Pacific dead in the water. It turned out for a very lengthy time (a few days) I had forgotten to relieve the crew from battle stations after a previous battle. Once I did relieve them, everything began to work normally again.

I have problems getting the crew to execute orders, but I am assuming there is a "command queue" that will only perform one thing at a time.

Had the same problem with Operation: Flashpoint when crewing vehicles. Commanding the driver to turn left and increase speed, then designating a target for the gunner to track and destroy is something that takes quite some time.

I know it won't make anyone feel any better, my sim works great but when something
weird does happen I just pretend its all part of the immersion factor...if I can't dive, its a malfunction, if I can't fire, its a malfunction...like they say **** happens

Saved; my s-boat was in fine condition.

I come home tonight and pick up where I left off...and walked onboard a nightmare.

Flooding in engine rooms, control room, and fore torpedo room, periscope destroyed, all torpedoes fired, sonar taken out.

And somehow, while running SUBMEREGED......I ran out of diesel fuel. Did my XO install a snorkel in mid patrol while I was asleep?

If it's worth anything, I haven't experience any of those problems you have described after installing 1.2. Its not to say it wont happen soon, but maybe something just went bad in your installation?

I think (this happened to me) that sometimes the install of the game
or patch (maybe mods) doesn't go right and causes very strange things
to happen (maybe over & over). If you are having this kind of trouble,
I suggest you do what I ended up doing. Uninstall everything and start
all over again. It worked for me. All it takes is a little extra time....

I'm only using a few mods that are handled with Jsgme. Before updating to 1.2, I backed out the mods, installed 1.2, then activated the mods again through Jsgme. The Battle Station and Silent running mod to all icons is great My previous saved career wouldn't load, so I started a new one.

Added Berrys new Fleetboat mod through Jsgme too. Since it has the green light mod built in, I backed out the single mod.

I haven't changed any files manually, but I need to find a way to fix that southern heading radar bug. The boat just can't get down fast enough when an aircraft is spotted visually

If the save games are still buggy, I recall that all the way back to SH2. Must be some root code that UBI is still using.
