Yep, when i start out on, say the bridge, i am maxed at 60fps but within an hour it's down to 25 or 30fps. Was wondering last night if there might be a memory leak - next time I play I will leave memturbo open on my other monitor and see if I can pick any ongoing memory degradation.

Apparently alt-tabbing to the desktop and back usually helps but this just crashes SHIV for me so it's not a solution.

I read somewhere that if you shell out (alt tab) and return things return to "normal".

Its heresay but worth a try.
