I was under the impression that Pravda meant 'truth'. Am I wrong or just misguided?

Perhaps the biggest newspaper in Russia is still named Komsomol'skaya Pravda - Komsomol, for those who don't know, stands for Communist Youth Organization.

This, of course, is despite the fact that the paper is owned by Russia's premiere capitalist venture Gazprom and the Komsomol has ceased to exist with the Soviet union.

So I wouldn't take the titles too seriously :p
