Alternate download on the site of a Romanian PC magazine:

Actually, this is where I found it first. I got a steady 35-40 k here.

No, i don't get through:

"You can download this file only using a web browser: XtremPC Downloads "

Clicking the link sends me into a nirwana, extremely low intensity traffic, but no download initiated. IE7, medium settings. I assume that qualifies for the description of a web browser, yes?

Oops, seems IE7 doesn't work. I am using Mozilla Firefox, and I had no problems. When I tried with IE7 I got just the same results as you. This still leaves you with the original site of the game (first post).

How finished is this version? It looks great.

Xcom ruled. I especially liked the tracking system of ufo sightings and scrambling jets to intercept. Then sending a recovery teams to crash sites. Never has there been a game like it. Can't way to try this.

Which doesn't work for me either. Site is shown, but download links broken. Tried Mozille after having red your post, older version I still have on some CD. but it does not get through, too.

Anyone able to play a mission in this game? Seems like it is incomplete. I tried sending out a ship to a landing site (first mission) and I can't equip the ship because its broken and on the "TODO list"

I just finished my third. You have to do some in hop's and various other things. When the alert box comes up that has the cancel button at the bottom you have to left click on the mission statement above. (I think)
It does get needlessly confusing trying to send the team places.
