Well yes I am running GWX, but I was not aware of the Lite harbor traffic optional mod.

How I enable this?

Do I need to alter a config file
Is it an option I select
Is it replacing files.

This seems to be the answer to my question, thanks for the tip

In your SH3/GWX installation folder will be a file called JSGME.exe. Run it. On the left of the screen select "GWX - Lite Harbor Traffic". Press Enable. Done.

Then browse the GWX manual for descriptions of the other optional mods.

Re MM's very highly convoluted and confusing posts (seems everything has to be double or triple posted ), to change your TC settings, either use SH3Cmdr (search the forum for more info) or open your My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\main.cfg and adjust the LandProximity value up if you want to increase the speed at which TC operates when near land. Mine's at 512. But be careful; SH3 is not forgiving if you stuff your waypoints up and hit land!

SH3 Commander is a tool that will easily let you change this.
