Im not sure if this has been requested already...but it would be a popular mod. It should have been included as an option in the realism section, but unfortunatly its missing. Anyone know if this can be done?

Well i guess your not supposed to do that, or otherwise the US NAVY could have only built 1 Sub for the whole pacific...now that's a thought, gatling torpedo tubes with nuke warheads...it will come...it will for sure come. Not for me but...I guess some ppl want to play this as an arcade game...but again...not CptCox

Faster reloads would be great. But no.. im reluctant. Im playing with all realistic settings.. except outside view and event view. I have to turn them on. watching your torpedo hit the target in the little window is cool. I dont see why its disabled in all but the lowest settings.

Modify the NSS_xxx.sim files to your liking. ( Data/Submarine/NSS_xxx )
Just change load_time and xfer_time to something like 0,01 in it will be instant ![]() |

Save Your Game in Port.
Goto \Docs and Settings\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames Take the last folder, save-copy it to another location (Important!) Open ActiveUserPlayerUnits.upc Look for: [UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 1.WeaponSlot 1] and for [UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 1.WeaponSlot 1.Weapon] Here you can change e.g. IDLinkWeaponLoaded=TorpedoTube21inUS, Mk14Torpedo -> IDLinkWeaponLoaded=TorpedoTube21inUS, Mk16Torpedo etc. and AmmoTypeLoaded=Mk14TorpUS -> AmmoTypeLoaded=Mk16TorpUS Now look for [UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 1.Bunker 1] and [UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 5.Bunker 1] Here you change the Capacity to what you like (be serious, 100 is too much) Here you say what to load: IDLinkAmmunitionLoaded=Mk16Torpedo,30 or IDLinkAmmunitionLoaded=Mk16Torpedo,10,Mk14Torpedo, 20 Not a mod, but it works. |
