Need help with radio and gramaphone

Sorry if this is done somewhere else, I have selected no music in gamelplay options, as result I cant get the gramaphone or radio to work, can some one explain what needs to be done to get both working.

If you select "No music" that's what you get - the silence of the deep.

The best way to get rid of the in-built atmospheric ( but very annoying ) in-game music, but keep your radio and gramophone working is as follows:

DO NOT select "No Music" in Gameplay options. Instead:

Find the SH4/data/Sound/Music folder;
Make a new folder inside the Music folder called "Backup"
Cut and paste ALL the files from the Music Folder into your new Backup folder EXCEPT the music.cfg file. leave that where it is ( I also left in the Credits_Master LOOP and Menu_Master LOOP files ).

Voila, your gramophone and radio should work fine, but since it can't find the files to play, the in-game music will be silenced.

leave the music on...go into the sound file ..then music...take everything out EXCEPT THE CONFIG FILE...LEAVE IT THERE ....EXIT ..now if you have songs in the gramaphone and radio files..you should be a happy capitain and play the songs untill your hearts content

Thanks to all, my music issue is fixed, my crew now has regular dance nights and music evenings
