Downloaded it and checked the archive. Not tried it out though. Seems like there are a real bunch of new US ships in there as well. What I don't get is why the mod contains ships like the T3 Tanker and the Victory ship. They're already present in SH3. Has there anything been changed with these ships? I'm also a little reluctant to activate the mod since the presence of duplicate ship folders might mess up something.

There are also several new merchants there, seemingly of Japanese design considering the names. I also took a look at the *cfg files of the ships and found that under "Type" there was a different number. Not the usual "101", "102" and so on. So the ships most likely won't spawn in the campaign.

Will the newly included American subs work as player uboats in single missions?

They are setup to run in SH4.
I have a way to get them to work in SH3 I believe.
Lots of hex work yet to get the first test ready.

how to solve the file for val ?
wake of ship ,damaged texture, LightmapTexture,NormalmapTexture,zhese problem ,can you resolve them ? I meet these difficultiles to advance the schedule.

I DL here: ( http://hosted.filefront.com/UBOAT234) all 4 files and worked with *.rar.
The new file SH3 attack Japan MOD 1.0.exe produced many broken files.

Something shuold be changed, I think.

Default Is´t very very good, but neet it a liite correction´s .

Hi mate´s!
It´s a great work ( Kongo, Fuso, Ise and YAMATO and many other´s ( Nagato ) ).
But it have a child´s malady´s. For example broken US Dive airplane and USsreachplane and missimg airplane screw´s, broken Conte Verde etc.etc.
But i meaning that those problem´s UBOAT234 resolved, or i hope .
BUT yuor work is just the GREATTTT

All the problems can be solved with a VERY healthy dose of hex editing.
There is no easy way out.
Many more problems exist with importing to SH3 then the simple val switch.
Most of the ships have 2 damage objects SH3 will never see.
Those are over head that eat memory. They need deleted from EVERY dat
for ships.
10/-1 and 6/0 chunks are different, they should be switched out.
And I haven't even dug DEEP.
They work OK now but I won't throw a butt load on my system as is!

Kys. are versions 1 thru 4 all needed? Asking as I see large files for each and figures they each are a continuation of the previous version. Your screenshots look great.

And lastly, is this mod compatable with GWX? I've been down from a HDD crash and just getting back reinstalling everthing, so I'm not up to date on what's been going on with SHIII.

I'd be a bit leary myself.
They seem stable but there is so much different from Vanilla SH3
that I have not installed to my GWX install as yet.
Plus, they do not have corrected val files completed as yet.
As with all mods, procede with caution!!!

all 4 files must be download to compose into the one RAR file !
they are the one file !, which is ATTACK JAPAN MOD 1.0 !
you look differently as my pic ,because that I run on a patch 1.1,which is not completed!

This mod is run very well on THE GWX 1.03 !

how to edit a vol file?? I konw a little hex edit ! but don't know where is for SH3's rule!

DMG_NBB_Yamato.obj ,this sample ,the obj ,is not need by SH3 ? How to delete from the dat ?

TextureName=data/Sea/NBB_Ise/NBB_Ise_T01.tga

001.tga,N01.tga ,this two file,SH3 don't need them ?

In SH3, it does not work that way.
Those image files are useless.
As are all dds files.
Convert the main dds to tga only.
I'll contact you by E-mail
and give you the info you seek.
Be ready for a MASSIVE amount of Hex editing!!
Till someone writes a conversion program,
that is the only way!
