I don't believe the Collectors Edition was ever $150.00 USD to aquire. I think you may be confusing the Collectors Edition in your link for the Deluxe Edition?
You mean this is one I was supposed to get? The version I bought at GameStop, and the one that came from Amazon were just the plastic box with SS-298's picture and zeros on the cover. There was no recognition manual or leather looking box? I thought all initial US release versions were the same with the same bonus materials?
Let me clarify this. Are there THREE versions of SH IV?
Standard, DeLuxe Edition and Collector's Edition? Or just two?

Whatever is the case, I need a URL for the edition with the maximum extras if anybody has one please?

Yup, I would have rather saved $15 myself. Oh, well, I'm still glad I got it, please don't misunderstand me. But it would've been nice to save fifteen smackers.

To buy the Deluxe edition from UK would cost about 134 USD with shipping to USA.

They wanted pound sterling, which is about twice the USD. Vey expensive exchange rate.

I thought what ****** was only selling is the Limited Edition for USA. It has a Map, Wall Poster for ships only, DVD movie, 100 page manual.

I wanted the fold out recon manual EU got with spiral binder.

Edit: Wow, that is the Collector's Edition EU got! It is the Import version. Sweet buy for a new Kaleun! Good head's up on that deal.

Edit2: Board forum etiquiette rules. No posting to external game link buy sites.

Doh! I could have saved $15! I bought the Amazon US version linked from the Subsim sticky though so it's all good

From that picture of the collector's edition (from Jungman's amazon link), the recognition manual still only shows the ships in isometric. Did that annoy anyone else? Iso views just seem out of place in a historical game's setting. I would still have liked to have got the spiral bound recognition manual though.

If you havent got Sh4 yet that gogamer deal is awesome!

Wow guys. I was reading about the forum rules and it says really wish you would buy from Subsim.com to support us, this forum.

Thus it is not quite right for us to point to external game links for sales. I edit my post.

Or, you can get it where you can and then donate the difference.
