Default Stadimeter CTD.

Well i have joined the ranks of those owning SH4 and i couldnt be any happier to say so. I am a little Po'd that when i go to fiqure range i get an intermitent ctd though. I have followed the recomendations in the previous posts to no avail. and im finding it hard to remember to save at every contact. silly me... but i unlike some others that have already posted am not going to resign the game to the shelf. im going to keep plugging along and hoping to remember to save.

I am however running the game under Windoze 2k the box says Xp or up, but i am wondering how many others are running under 2000? Could this be contributing to the Stadimeter CTD? So far it is the only Crash that i can complain about. Can anyone explain why it says only Xp & Up? is it just that they wont tech support any lower or is there a programming reason for the OS Reqs?

Thanking in advance.

It will run fine under windows 2000 as I know some are without issue. Stadimeter makes every operating system CTD. I had my first today with XP. It happened after I refitted and immediately went out to patrol again. Maybe a save at this point would have prevented it. I do not know. Other than that stay away from the "A" key....another known CTD issue.

The next patch has got to fix this. So just keep sitting tight, shouldn't be too long now...

Email me with your old account name and e-mail, I'll update it for you.

On the Stad CTD, try reinstalling the game and patching. That fixes the problem for most.
