It is intentional. Got hot in the PTO. Plus under silent running the airconditioners were turned off or just broke down

I have yet to see any of my crew like this, even near the Celebes.
The reason SH4 is so buggy is the time spent on this feature. They actually coded the game so it can tell (based on your HD temp files, browsing history, etc) if you like that sort of thing. If it decides you do, presto, topless guys on deck! <G> tater |

not enough kit to go around , one partol in a storm heavy driving rain. Look around at the watch one guy just had his usual blue shirt and jeans, the other next to me had on a jacket. The next time , different shift ? the guy next to me had on the rain coat and hat.
Don't know if its tied into rank ? |

The stripped Shirt has to be intentional, and i think its a great touch. ALthough i think they should have tied that to silent running, cause ive only seen it when your boat is hit and flooding.
From books ive read in the past, it got REALLY HOT in a fleet boat in the pacific. Temperatures reaching to like 120 degree's in the pressure hull during silent running because all the fans and AC had to be shut off. If i remember right, crew would ingest salt tablets to restore some of the lost salt from sweating, and the floor of the sub would just be covered in sweat. If that hot, you'd take your shirt off too. hell, i'd be down to my skivvies. |

This is nothing compared to the end credits of "down periscope"...
A way much better version than this! |
