Default Moon too yellow?

I think the color of the moon is a bit too yellow. It looks about right when it's near the horizon. But as the moon rises, it should become a more whitish with a slight bluish tint. The light reflections look good from the moon on the water and objects, but the color of the moon isn't the same shade as these reflections.
I would very much like to have my moon match more to the shade of it's ilumination on the water etc, but I'm not familiar with editing DDS files.
Would anyone be willing to take up this request that knows how to edit the DDS files to make the moon match the color of it's illumination better?

I agree. I'd like it smaller too, as it looks a bit too big to me.

RFB now has a smaller and whiter moon based on the old RUb one - I messed with the old graphic yesterday and plugged it into SH4 successfully.

I have scaled down the moon.obj and sun.obj in the scene.dat, both objects seems to big for me. The moon texture is located in textures/TNormal/tex (Moon.dds) and can be adjusted in color with a graphic app which supports DDS files. Changing the color change also the color of the moon reflection on water and objects.

I release this mod this evening!

I'm interested in trying out this mod. The mod I'm using now has a sun that's a bit small, so maybe yours would work better. If so could I use your mod in RFB?
