What mod? No supermods...stock with eyecandy addons such as Harbor Traffic, Torpedo Damage, Beery Water, Winter Terrain Textures, etc. Time and Date? Look at the clock in the lower right side. September, 1939 It's flying an American Flag and is identified as a Neutral, making it possible for it to be anchored at Wilhelmshaven, which is currently in the hands of the Germans. ![]() ![]()

I'm playing GWX 1.02, and the passenger/ cargo ship was spotted 100 miles or so NW of Lerwick sub base.
As there weren't significant numbers of passengers present I first confirmed it was a british ship and then lined up my shot. Let rip with 2 fish (both hits) and then surfaced to finish her off with my deck gun (type IX). I guess I could have just used the deck gun and saved torpedoes... The deck gun broke the ship in half... On the same patrol I earlier spotted the Nelson and Rodney with a destroyer escort of the coast of Norway at night. I went to periscope depth, but couldn't gain any ground. I fired a spread of torpedoes at very long range but scored no hits so I eventually let them go. I think now I should have got closer on the surface maybe? Any thoughts? ![]() |
