The tdc is bugged. You should use the lock function and put the spread angle on your shot so that you lead your target with 3 degres or more.

That's what I've been doing with fast torpedoes. 2-9 degrees offset angle ahead of the target but it varies a lot. However, shawnyp is probably on to something with the Slow setting working fine. I'll have to try slow fish more.
