2nd patrol was a Photo Recon of Hiroshima harbour

(Anyone remember the cardinal rule from SH3/GWX -Stay out of the shallow water) but i did get a docked Ise BB with my last 6 fish

which made up for the nasty suprise of Shore Battery's

lol yea i was rolling along on my first mission (deploy to east china sea) and followed a convoy contact up to west of japan and after i destroy a few i catch up with the rest to see them running aground and killing themselves. so i turn around to head home and i put on some time compression and this was in 1.0 i all of a sudden am sinking....heh. started looking around saw some flashes on land and was like sob. make a perpendicular run to shore to escape inspect the damage..i had upwards of 15 holes in my ship and for some reason i tohught i could submerge...yea...bad idea. learned a good lesson tho. pay attention lol now 1.1 you get airbombed on top of it. rough.
