Since a good part of the code comes from SH3, the same rules must apply.
Most of the time you encounter these big targets : 1. If you are out of torpedoes going back home (and it's not advisable to engage them with the deck gun) 2. If not out of torpedoes you have all the rain in the sky falling on you, howling winds and you can barely see past the bow of your sub.
