Are you actually silent running (you clicked the silent running button) or did you just set your speed at 2 knts? Either way,...you should be able to ditch them. Are they following you or are you just headed in the same direction as they are?

Oh yes I most certainly am running on Silent Running.

They usually just follow me, sail over my head, ciricle round, and repeat, while keeping with me all the time.

If my bats get too low......and if they havnen't given up i may have to blow and run. which could mean certain disaster!!!

Sounds like you found some real bastards. I find evading to be pretty easy up untill last 42 actually. Ive never had that much trouble with evading that early in the war. Wish I did though. Would have made it a lot less boring.

Yes, but when you spend an hour of real time trying to lose them.....boredom does kick in!!!

Dive to around 200m, you should be fine there. Unless you aren`t in a deep water.

Put your head next to the hull and start making whale sounds to throw them off.

Download the latest manual (from my sig if you haven't already got it) There are evasive manouvres advice in there. But normally by diving to 200 metres and creeping along in silent running mode should be sufficient

Can I just add that it's a really bad idea to save underwater with this game. Or near any other ships, or near port. Things start to go really wrong if you do that, so you may have already lost that patrol matey

One of the bugs of the game I'm afraid
