I'm playing GWX.

And right now i'm heading home after a decent first patrol.....but for the last 3 and a half hours game time (about and hour and a bit real time) I have been pursued by a armed trawler and destroyer....they're not even attacking me anymore, just pinging, and following me, even with me at Silent Running and chaning course and direction.

I've actually become tired of trying to lose them so ive saved and come off. My batterys are at 50%......it may look if they don't give up like i may have to try surfacing and running.

If they're not attacking they should p*ss off ane leave my boat alone. I've got some good sinkings i'm certain will earn me a medal when i return!!!!

its September 15th, 1939....my first patrol still. They shouldn't be shadowing me the way they are!!!

If I remember right, it was very difficult to track, let alone detect a Uboat in the first years of the war.

Thats odd. In 39 I did a close pass to a DD with my entire bridge crew mooning the DD. Tehy never saw me. You are silent running @ 2knts? What is your depth?

Are you actually silent running (you clicked the silent running button) or did you just set your speed at 2 knts? Either way,...you should be able to ditch them. Are they following you or are you just headed in the same direction as they are?

Oh yes I most certainly am running on Silent Running.

They usually just follow me, sail over my head, ciricle round, and repeat, while keeping with me all the time.

If my bats get too low......and if they havnen't given up i may have to blow and run. which could mean certain disaster!!!
