You're letting your 'net paranoia get the better of you... Rapidshare, as much as I detest the free version, is blindingly quick when you subscribe, and so far I've had no unsolicited garbage. Well, no more than usual anyway.

Well...if you had spent a month forcing pirated porn site charges from your card you might sing a different tune. It is not fun and dam embarrassing.

Quick or not I am not about to risk it again.

And its not about being quick or not...Rapidshare has become impossible to get a free download from. If they don't want to provide free service then they should just suspend it and stop pretending.

I found the sound which is causing the bug. Listen to the Crashdive sound (Submarine_chrashdive_int) with Mediaplayer (orwhatever) and the last 30 ms after Bill Paxton's "VeryWell" are exactly the sound which is playing over and over again.

I removed this 30ms now. if sh4 does it again, i'll hear "Very Well" now all the time...

I guess ive got it...

SH4 is playing a loopsound at the end of surface_int and crashdive_int (this IS a bug) i've tried to convert the files to the exact same as the stock files - no effect.

I will now just put a silence at the end of crashdive and surface in the length of 2 seconds or so, that might fix it until ubi comes up with a patch.

You might do this yourself with Windows Audiorecorder or wait till ill upload the fix.

Ill test it right away and tell you if it works..

Apologies in advance to the OP, but, what the hell has any of that got to do with subscribing to Rapidshare?!? If you're accusing them of illegally charging your credit card or whatever, then you have legal recourse to prevent it and penalise them in the process. Otherwise, you're being overly paranoid about what is a very simple online transaction.

I would guess because it takes an act of god to download something from the butts without buying a premium account. I've been trying for a friggin hour, always too many people downloading it, or it thinks the access code is wrong. How many times can I mistype a 4 digit code.

Thank goodness it has finally started downloading.

Rip, why are you having a go at me? What does your post have to do with my point about buying a month's download time being not-a-big-deal? I know downloading from the free servers is a pain, why TH do you think I bought some time from them???

But all that is beside the point. Rapidshare is working again for freebie downloads. If you want the files no need to wait for uploading to a better server.

I downloaded the jsgme version of The Ultimate Sound Mod & it will not go into the JSGME folder on the desktop, what do I do? I've read allot about this mod & would like it to be in my game. Also does anybody know how to put in the sonagrandomizer & add music to it? Please help if you can. THE MRS HRG

It was possibly a computer hiccup (seeing as I was screwing with the settings at the time) but I got caught in this *ka-ka-ka-choop* like sound loop.


This HAS to be some sort of error. It only occurrs when I crash dive. I dive, hear all of the cool things going on ;-) and then, all of your other awesome add-ins get killed do to aforementioned *ka-ka-ka-choop*.
