Default [REQ] Run Silent Run Deep Mod?

I was wondering if someone could make a sound mod for SH4? As Das Boot was to SH3...maybe Run Silent Run Deep will be to SH4. What if we could have a sound for crash dive like in the movie...when Clark Gabel would yell, "Dive...Dive" when the claxon goes off.

Just an idea as this 50 buck sim will take a ton of mods to just begin to be a worthy replacement for SH3. imho of course.

Default Good Idea

I think it would sound good also,I'd like to hear "Burt Lancaster "myself, from the same movie.Got to have the OOGA horn sound too.Haven't got my game yet, hopefully the horn sound will be there.

The OooooGah i heard on Steve's Video felt too fast, I kinda like that soundfile version of it that was posted a few days back. was nice and slow.

I am going to watch the movie again this afternoon and write down some sounds that would be appropriate. I hope we could get a couple of guys to do this and put something together?

A better 'General Quarters' alarm would be nice. the one i've heard going off in Neal's video sounded too laid back. There was a great one kicking around on the net a couple of years ago but I can't remember where.

You didn't quite read all the text - the author says that file is not used in SH4, it's for SH3...
