Default Scratch one flattop

On my first campaign patrol, in an S-Boat or out Manila, I caught a HUGE task force headed north in the western Celebes Sea. Three fleet carriers, and I targeted the lead one...a Shokaku class flattop crusing at 14 kts. Fired all 4 tubes at a range of 750yds, one dud, but the rest ran true and hit her just below the superstructure on the starboard side. In less than two minutes she was gone completely.

Default S.O.S.

Oh God please help! I have the following computer specs:

3.4 Ghz Pentium 4

1 GB RAM

6200SE Nvidia Geforce with 256MB RAM

I HAVE NO SOUND CARD

I HAVE A 1.1 PATCHED version of SH4 (UK) Version

The game runs so slowly as to be unplayable. Is the lack of sound card the crucial factor or is there something very wrong with this software?

Those are some sweet screen shots! I especially like the one of the ship twisting as it is breaking in half. *can hardly wait to be able to actually play*

Look at me Ma , I can walk on water .... 1.1 sub school deck gun. Pilots shot down, and no its not that the chute is missing, this was after the chute had gone. About 4 others were the same, he is in the treading water position but well above the water.

Wow, your sub is in very shallow water for that guy to be walking around ankle deep. :rotfl:

Damn, he keeps resurrecting... And I'm getting radio reports that upon my return to port I'll be re-based to a place called "Hell"... Meh, can't find it on the map...

On graphics, I guess there was no way the dev could stop water reflections. I thought I read somewhere that you would not see these reflections off the sea in real life, they look good but would toning them down not help FR.

What I mean, my 0 was on this ships 90 and I had hit her with a couple of torps and she was burning and smoke pluming up. It was a rolling sea, and as I was looking at her through my pscope, this wave came rolling right towards my scope. As it got very close my view of the ship went from full on to just being able to see the tops of her masts. But on my side of the wave was the reflection of the whole ship flames and smoke. I was not a case of seeing through the wave, but the wave though blocking out all but the tips of her masts, carried her total reflection the side of the wave closest to me.
