They could open all muzzle doors at once. I thought I'd remembered, from the SubSchool interlock lecture, that only one at a time was possible to minimize flooding risk. Went to the on-line torpedo manual and read up on tube mechanics and interlock series (at 3AM--is my life working out or what?) Turns out I misremembered from 26 years ago.

Most important interlock is the breech door-muzzle door. Openning the breech while the muzzle is open can ruin your whole day. Other interlocks are gravy.

So could US Subs then open all the tube doors together thern or not?
