Default My Rant About today

I just need to get this off my chest. This is the only time I will speak of this. Today When I called GameStop for my Reserve I am told they will not NOW have it until Thursday. WTF? So I call every single EB games and GameStop within 50 miles. All of them are tomorow.

Ok, now the real kicker. I go to Target they have none. So I go to BestBuy. None on the shelves. I ask if they have any out back. Yes we do we have 3. YIPPEEEE.... But I can't sell them to you. They are not released to the 22nd. WTF.

Rant over. Have a nice night. I guess I will pick it up tommorow now.

I mean this just proves that the PC game is going to be dead soon. I have not seen it this bad ever.

And the really sad part is that everyone thinks they are getting great deals on those Xboxes. I have bad news for them though, right now sony and Microsoft sell those nice shinny boxes at a LOSS. When PC gaming dies and they have the market you will be PAYING FULL price for those shiny nice boxes, which will cost as much as some PC.

We will have the last laugh.

The really funny part is the Microsoft is screwing itself. A good portion of the PC market is Gaming rigs. Video card makers, ram, etc. :rotfl:

I wasn't complaining about anything. I was just noting that some of us are going to have to wait a little longer, and don't mind doing so. The sky ain't falling where I'm stanidng. In fact the sun is shining brightly. SH4 looks to be an excellent subsim, and I'm looking forward to playing it. If I have to wait 2 more weeks, so be it. I'll get it eventually, and have fun when I do. If PC games die, it won't be because of shipping issues. And from what I've seen so far, SH4 looks top notch.

Take some time today to smell some flowers, enjoy the sunshine, and smile......

I have a garden full of F*cking flowers. I want to sink something.

Now Amazon has pushed the date back a week.

First bad experince with Amazon. Have cancled and will order it through Ubisoft if I can't find it around town.

Life does go on but right now I'm not to happy.

My local EB Games had stock yesterday in Sydney, I was playing last night just long enough to thank god I bought STALKER at the same time.

SH4 is full of bugs that will need to be ironed out before I get too excited, I hear there's a patch coming! Stalker on the other hand seems to be the real deal no patch required, graphics, story line and atmospherics are amasing. Easily a good choice to while away the time required to 'fix' SH4

I feel your pain. When I saw that the expected delivery date from Amazon.com had switched from March 22 to April 17th, I almost passed out. Luckily, they let you cancel an order that has not yet shipped. I went to Ubisoft's website, and after a 20 minute download at work, I am installing as I type. I cannot wait. I know this sounds bad, but I am almost a little glad that the wife and son are a little under the weather and sleeping!

I think they are already there as far as price goes. For a cheap PC anyway.

The odd thing about Amazon was the "avaliable the 28th" but the arrival for me was something like April 7th. April 7th, you say? I paid a heck of a lot more for next day, and April 7th is what you give me?

You know, the Americans and the British are really paying dearly for my annoyance. Every hour that passes sees another one of their precious cargos or tankers on the bottom of the North Atlantic. For the love of your country and it's supplies, get the game here before I wipe every last merchant off the face of the North Atlantic!!
