Use a free image editing suite like Infranview - http://www.irfanview.com/

Open your screenshot in this program and then 'save as' jpeg. Use a compression ratio of about 80%, this should reduce your image size to a respectable level.

Infranview is easy to use and the compression ratio is a popup box when you goto save your image.

To convert your already hosted images you must change the originals and repeat the u/l process.(or re-save the posted ones here)
