What to do with my renown?

If it was me, I would get type IXB boat ... hey more torp would be great, right

It will cost you 7500 renown. You still have 2500 in your pocket, which can be used to upgrade your sonar. Or do like Melnibonian, get the type IXC.

Are you playing stock SH3 or any of the mods? In any case check the relevant manuals and you will see all the dates and flotilas for the U-Boats throughout the war.

The first thing I do when I get a little renown is to spend it on some totaly narley furry dice and flame decals. Looks great on the side of my boat.

stock + some mods, but also using sh3 commander ticket "realistic uboat dates".

Anyway I will check the "new carrerr" messages because i think they are listing the boats and i will check the manual! thanks

Get yourself a big boat then start saveing for Sonar,radar,counter measures better torps etc, and get promoted too.
