For me it will be the greater opportunity for sinking warships, particularly those beautiful Japanese ones. S-44 versus Kako, anybody?

Does anyone know if more renown will be awarded for sinking naval vessels than in SH3? As I recall, there was at one point a concerted efforted to sink escorts, given the IJNs weaknesses in that area.

Features? Hopefully the AI will be better. As of now I am just hoping they release the game in a finished state.

Definitely the reassignment of special or historical missions during the dynamic campaign as well as actually being able to see AI sailors move around the ships which will hopefully add some immersion.

Not having to micromanage the crew...getting to play as "the good guys"...seeing huge naval battles, and being in the middle of them...

Man, I can't wait until next week!

For me its the immersion bits. Crew on deck, survivors in the water, parachutes, etc.

As long as it has a dynamic campaign am happy.

Am still having nightmares of sh2,which was a fun game however it had no replayablity at the level sh3 had. Basicaly do mission, your done, go home eat pie.

At times I've felt a little strange about blowing up British and U.S. shipping. But now I'll get to drive guilt-free U.S. subs!
