As far as I can tell the following would be the correct answer...

============================================
US Edition: Available 3/20/07

============================================
World-wide Editions: Available 3/22/07 (3/23/07 in UK)

Even though I don't know if Anti-Aliasing will be supported in SH4, which has kept me on the fence as to whether or not I should get it, I broke down and just pre-ordered from the Subsim link to Amazon.com. I'm really interested in commanding a U.S. Sub. C'mon 20th!

Hell, if I would've known they were gonna wait that long, I would've ordered from Newegg and got it $5 cheaper and probably a bit faster too. Not to mention being billed on the day it shipped, not a week and a half early.
Overnight Shipping at Ubisoft is a little cheaper then it is at Newegg for me. Either way though, getting charged for soemthing that hasn't shipped is lame. Having "Shipped" on your "My Orders" page when it hasn't shipped is also lame.
I don't have FedEx overnight shipping available where I'm at.. or even 2 day shipping. I would've saved $5 on 3 day shipping at Newegg just because the price of the game itself is $5 cheaper.

Now that I realize the Ubi store charges you long before sending it, I'll not be using those bastards again unless it arrives most ricky-tick. A 23rd arrival date is the only thing that will save them for me now.

Not that I don't believe you, but I am curious, are you really in KCMO? :hmm: If so, then I guess that relatively newer KMCI airport you guys have there is crap compared to the KDEN airport here where I live. Or does FedEx just have something against Misery, err... I mean Missouri.

Seriously? I would have thought that FedEx shipping options would be available to most anyone here in the states. That's crazy. I wouldn't go the Ubi route again either i your position. Either way though, at least you'll more than likely be getting it next week with everybody else.

I agree, the Ubi Store is the only online vendor that I have dealt with that charges your account before they ship the product. The charge showed up as pending on March 8. This morning when I checked my account the charge had gone from pending to current (meaning they have my money). Every other online vendor I have dealt with charges on the date the product ships wheather it be pre-order, back-order or whatever. Unless it arrives in the next couple of days I will not purchase anything from the Ubi Store again.

Same thing here. Was a pending charge on 3-9-07 on 3-12-07 it was a regular charge. UBI has no right to do this.

Comnig up to the end of the financial year - "Take no prisoners!" say Ubi. Probably mean we're in line for a sub-standard product too (well more sub-standard than usual).

You can still cancel and order from subsim or Amazon or something.

Come on now - UBI has to get that cash flow so they can produce SH5 and DC2 - and that modern sub sim.

Was also charged early for on my pre-order. Oh well, live and learn. Lets see if they try to push the release date back again.

Default SHIV Release Date

March 20th - two days before my Property Law exam. Not many worse release dates for me than that. But still, I will have the game at last.
