Release Date Changed?

I ordered from Ubi in the hopes they would ship a couple days before release so us pre-orderers could get it on or aound the 20th release date.

Hell, if I would've known they were gonna wait that long, I would've ordered from Newegg and got it $5 cheaper and probably a bit faster too.

Not to mention being billed on the day it shipped, not a week and a half early.

Overnight Shipping at Ubisoft is a little cheaper then it is at Newegg for me. Either way though, getting charged for soemthing that hasn't shipped is lame. Having "Shipped" on your "My Orders" page when it hasn't shipped is also lame.

I don't have FedEx overnight shipping available where I'm at.. or even 2 day shipping. I would've saved $5 on 3 day shipping at Newegg just because the price of the game itself is $5 cheaper.

Now that I realize the Ubi store charges you long before sending it, I'll not be using those bastards again unless it arrives most ricky-tick. A 23rd arrival date is the only thing that will save them for me now.

I haven't changed my "location" since I moved 2 years ago. I'm now in very Southwest Misery. You know.. Jed Clampettville. I tried getting 2 day Fedex before on some hardware and the company sent me an e-mail saying it was just not possible and that I should choose a different one.

I'm so far out in the hills, the best I can get is UPS 3 day shipping.

Not to mention the internet connection issue.

I don't have FedEx overnight shipping available where I'm at.. or even 2 day shipping. I would've saved $5 on 3 day shipping at Newegg just because the price of the game itself is $5 cheaper.

Seriously? I would have thought that FedEx shipping options would be available to most anyone here in the states. That's crazy. I wouldn't go the Ubi route again either i your position. Either way though, at least you'll more than likely be getting it next week with everybody else.

I agree, the Ubi Store is the only online vendor that I have dealt with that charges your account before they ship the product. The charge showed up as pending on March 8. This morning when I checked my account the charge had gone from pending to current (meaning they have my money). Every other online vendor I have dealt with charges on the date the product ships wheather it be pre-order, back-order or whatever. Unless it arrives in the next couple of days I will not purchase anything from the Ubi Store again.

Same thing here. Was a pending charge on 3-9-07 on 3-12-07 it was a regular charge. UBI has no right to do this.
